DIY LIPSTICK EXPERIENCE @ Lab'i Lipstick Design Studio

For my very 1st post here on my blog, I am going to share with you how I made my own lipstick last April 23, 2019 courtesy of Lab'i Lipstick.

Lab'i Lipstick Design Studio opened their doors to everyone last February 14, 2019 and they are located at Eastwood, Citywalk 2, second floor. Labi is the first store here in the Philippines which let you experience making your own lipstick.

Ms Eleanor Leung, the owner of Lab'i, has always been a lipstick addict- always on the search for that perfect shade or a new shade and that is why the idea of starting a Lip Design Studio came to her naturally. She told her husband about this and together they started LAB'I. Since Ms Leung is also a health buff, she thought of making the lipsticks lead free and made from purely natural, organic and botanical ingredients.

Aside from that, there are a lot of lip cases, shapes, scents and over 150 shades of lipstick to choose from, and if you didn't like any of their shades or want to have your OWN shade, Ms Leung and her team would gladly customize it for you.

Lab'i has 4 packages to choose from

• PICK ME UP: This is the package if you want to buy their lipstick. You can choose from over 12 colors. Their lipstick sells for 330 pesos.

• LAB CREATION (Package A): This is the package which entitles you to choose the color, shape, scent and case of your lipstick BUT the Lab'i team will make it for you which will take about 5-10 minutes. This package costs 780 pesos.

• MY OWN EXPERIENCE (Package B): This is the package which will let you experience MAKING YOUR OWN LIPSTICK from start to finish. From choosing the color, shape, scent and case of your lipstick which will take about 20-30 minutes. This package costs 1,500 pesos and requires a reservation for groups 5 or more.

• CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN SHADE (Package C): This package is basically the same with Package B, the only additional here is that you get to CUSTOMIZE/CREATE your own shade with the help of Ms Eleanor and team. This package costs 3,300 pesos.

Lab'i held a contest just this April and of course, I joined! Come April 15, and to my surprise, I won 6 free tickets to experience their PACKAGE B: MY OWN EXPERIENCE. It's the package where you'll be creating the lipstick from start to finish! Imagine how excited I was when they messaged me! So fast forward to April 23, 2:30PM, my friends and I arrived at the studio, amazed and excited to start our diy lipstick experience!

REVIEW:

I must say that the whole process was very short. The choosing of color, lip case, shape and scent of our lipsticks took the most of our time. And for the price 1,500 pesos, honestly this activity is a bit expensive but hey, it's organic and you'd make your OWN lipstick.

I highly suggest this activity if you want to experience making your own lipstick and also to all my co-make up lovers out there! Not only the women will enjoy this, but also the men (cause my bf did)!
